My best friends. My family. 

Today, my parents told me that I shouldn’t care about my friends as much as I do, but they don’t see it the way I do. 

They say friends come and go, and that family is forever, and thats true; but those friends that you consider like family, thats a bit different. See, family you’re born into, people that are supposed to love you unconditionally just because you happened to be born with them, there’s your freebie. Those friends though, you earn them. There’s some sense of accomplishment in that… Because your family is supposed to love you, but when you see that there are people that aren’t related to you and/or people that aren’t expected to love you but do, that’s just an amazing feeling. People that care about you, even though they don’t have to. 

Don’t get me wrong, I still love my blood family just as much, because not everyone has a loving family such as mine, a lot of people tend to take that for granted. So this is to my family, and my other family,
